Mt Damavand Frozen Animals

There are few frozen dead animals at the top of Damavand just similar to Egyptian mummies, but without any bandages! These dead bodys have been there for a long time, perhaps for about 20 or 30 years. There is no clear idea about the cause of their dead, maybe they died becuse of some disease, sulphur gas, hunger or frozen to dead due to cold weather. The bodies belongs to animals such as sheep, gazelle, dog and wolf. Because of very cold and freezing Damavand Weather at the summit and also sulphur gas at the top, these bodies will remain for many years more.
