Damavand Climbing Tour Itinerary in Details
DAY ONE: DAY OF ARRIVAL
Transfer from Tehran to the first campsite in Damavand. From your accommodation in Tehran, take a car to Damavand Camp 1 Polour Resort (2200 meters). Get your permit to climb Damavand here. Simply rest and sleep there to adapt; abstain from vigorous activity or climbing, and stay away from Tehran's smoggy air. Enjoy yourself this evening. Spend the night in a tent, local residence, or Polour hut.
DAY TWO: A DAY FOR HIKING
Transfer by 4W vehicle from C1 to Damavand Camp 2 Base 3050 m after breakfast (also called Goosfand Sara). A 4-6 hour hike would also be required to reach Camp 3 Bargah Sevom (4250m). No need to haste. Overnight at the tent, shelter or at Camp 3 Bargah Sevom new hut.
DAY THREE: ACCLIMATIZATION DAY
You are not here to break any speed records; rather, it is a day of acclimatization in order to prepare for the peak of Damavand. You intend to hike today around Damavand Camp 3 Bargah Sevom for roughly 4800 meters. Instead of starting out too early or going higher and tiring yourself, save your energy for tomorrow and have plenty of time to unwind after your trip. Go to bed early! Spend the night in the new cabin, shelter, or tent at camp III.
DAY FOUR: THE SUMMIT
Damavand climbing tour on the summit day. Hiking to Iran's peak, which is 5670 meters high. The push for the summit has begun. After waking up early (4 am), have a good meal before you start, check the weather forecast. Start the climb to Damavand summit when it is still dark, around five in the morning. You might reach the summit in 5 to 8 hours, depending on your pace, level of fitness, and physical prowess. Keep to a more odor-free distance and avoid the sulfur that is leaking near the crater (it is irritating).
Congratulations! You were successful! No matter how many summits you've already attained, the ascent of this very noticeable mountain will always stand out as a special experience. It's time to get back; the trip down to the camp will take roughly 3 hours. Take a few minutes to rest, but don't linger for too long. Spend the night in the new hut, shelter, or tent at camp III.
DAY FIVE: GO BACK TO TEHRAN
After a well-deserved rest, a restful night, and a filling breakfast, it's time to head back to camp 1. Especially in light of yesterday's considerable attempt and early wake-up, there is no need to rush. It could be a bit difficult for people whose knees suffer after descending. Mountain climbing in Damavand has finished. Spend the night in the hotel.
